As an artist David Andrés Kietzman has worked in Central America, taught art and graphic design in various schools in Los Angeles and exhibited his artwork mostly in San Diego and Los Angeles. He is currently the Executive Director of the non-profit Youth Speak Collective and the Creative Director for the graphic arts consulting firm AK Design. Kietzman studied art, graphic design, and education at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Ca. As a graphic designer he has developed his portfolio primarily with work related to the non-profit, small business and education sectors. He continues to explore the fine line between art, graphic design, social marketing and community revitalization. Kietzman has been able to introduce to the public his socially active and deeply personal paintings that explore the ideas of individual freedom, ideal juxtaposition and cultural boundaries. Currently he is exhibiting his paintings in selected galleries and creating graphic design concepts on consignment.
